Research work on Hidden Canyons is revealing that the work was not composed for The Circle of Unity, it was composed after a visit to Bear Butte-Mato Paha, South Dakota. At the time Tom was considering doing a work on The Grandfather and the Great Spirit. He'd traveled to Bear Butte with High Eagle and a jazz choreographer and her husband in Manhattan. This is getting very exciting after all the years I've put into getting Tom's music "out there." More as I go.
